Broadway.com provides a comprehensive range of group and individual ticketing options. Broadway.com is the Internet's most comprehensive destination for live theater.
Broadway.com is seeking a creative and confident front-end web developer with a passion for good design. You are fluent with HTML/CSS and very comfortable with the Javascript. You are able to meet with stakeholders, gather requirements, work off wire frames/sketches, and produce creative, quality work that you care about.
You are not a full-time designer but you are comfortable with Photoshop. You are able to produce optimized images and HTML/CSS templates from existing Photoshop files. You can produce original design elements in Photoshop when asked to, or work off existing style guides to create new interfaces.
You test your work across multiple browsers and operating systems. Performance is a concern for you. You take pride in crushing browser specific issues, and producing lightweight, cross-browser compatible code. You comply with standards and apply best-practices. You desire to innovate.
We are a small team of passionate developers and designers. We write our code in Python and live in the Django web framework. If you are not already familiar with Django, you will need to become comfortable with Django templates (don't worry they're not scary). We can teach you about Django if it's new to you. We love to collaborate and you should to.
