 Tribble Designs is seeking a freelance web production artist. The right candidate will be friendly, easy-to-work with and great at estimating projects and meeting deadlines. Typical projects include coding and building web sites, HTML emails, landing pages, banner ads, and flash animations. This individual will also assist with site updates and edits to existing sites. There may also be some design work, depending on the skill level of the individual. I typically have 10-20+ hours of work available on a weekly basis, depending upon project load.

While I would prefer someone with established technical knowledge and experience, I'm willing to work with someone who has a good basis but is still studying and refining their skills. The projects I work on can be quite varied so the position is an excellent opportunity for learning about all aspects of web design. What is most important is a passion for learning and growing your skills. 

That being said, I'm also open to working with a more experienced designer who has technical skills as long as they offer a competitive rate.  

About me: I'm an independent web designer who works with a broad range of clients, from small businesses to large corporations. You can view samples of my work at http://www.tribbledesigns.com/. My business has been growing fast over the past couple of years so I am setting up a network of talented subcontractors and specialists to help handle the volume of work and allow me to take on larger and more complicated projects. This person will be an important part of this team.  

Requirements:

• Ability to hand-code clean, semantic HTML & CSS in line with the latest web standards
• Intermediate Photoshop skills, particularly in the areas of image optimization and slicing
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work virtually while maintaining good communication and managing deadlines

Ideal skills:

• Design skills
• jQuery/Javascript
• Flash animation
• Knowledge of HTML email best practices
