StudioNorth helps industry innovators achieve real results with breakthrough communications and advanced technologies. We are an integrated brand communications firm seeking a new team member to fulfill the role of Senior Designer.

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for executing fully developed print, web and interface design solutions, with an awareness and sensitivity to brand values. The right candidate will have exceptional talent combined with the motivation, energy, and inspiration to bring to life unique and outstanding work. At least five years professional experience in both web and print design is required. Agency experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes
• Review & interpret strategic messaging & creative briefs
• Collaborate w/team to develop conceptual direction
• Demonstrate general understanding of integrated marketing strategy
• Gain and exhibit a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses and industries
• Provide & present rationales for concepts & design decisions
• Exhibit expert knowledge of typographic skills
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of CS4: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills
• Passionate for creative excellence & measurable results
• Work as part of a team—or independently—from concept through completion
• Have strong conceptual skills responsible for visual development and creative execution of print, web and multimedia projects
• Transform clients’ marketing/business goals into effective, original design solutions
• Have superior organizational and management skills, efficient working style, with ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently
• Able to meet high standards for quality, accuracy and still maintain budgets under tight deadlines

Secondary Attributes
• Client-facing experience preferred
• HTML, CSS, Flash or After Effects knowledge is a plus

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
