Our company has an immediate and exciting opportunity in our New York office for a Software Developer to work with a dynamic team in our technology department. We are looking for strong programming talents who thinks outside the box and is innovative at design and problem solving.
Responsibility:
- Developing custom components using industry best practices - Identifying potential performance improvements - Designing and implementing product with high performance and intuitive usability. - Supporting all aspects of development and production deployments - Writing technical documentation - Also responsible for providing technical assistance in client support and solution delivery. The position requires very limited travel. Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of web programming - Strong background experience in PHP, AJAX, ASP, CSS, C# and JavaScript programming and fundamental understanding of Web technologies. - Experience with backend development and user interface design - Experienced in server, client-side and database implementation. - Skilled at problem solving, able to think outside the box. - Solid understanding of middle-level programming language, database design structure and algorithm implementation. - Strong design oriented mind set preferred. - Interest in keeping up to date with the latest technology. - Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with exceptional organizational skills - Bachelors Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or CS preferred, but programming ability trumps a degree. - Fluent English verbal and above average writing skills We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits program.
