Mint Digital: HTML/CSS Developer who wants to learn Rails

(New York or London)

Do you want to develop your skills by working with an excellent team? Are you excited by the opportunities of the web?

We have an opening for a strong HTML/CSS programmer (JavaScript a plus, but not required). If you’re great with web front-end programming, and you’re interested in learning about Rails, this opportunity is for you.

Many of our senior technical staff initially joined Mint Digital to do a similar job. In your first 18 months with Mint you will get hands-on experience of all parts of a first-class software development process. You will probably also work on the development of Mint's own software, including BloomBox and Hemlock.

Mint's focus is on creating apps that combine the participation of the web with the audiences of TV. We’ve worked with Disney, MTV and the BBC. Mint sites often face epic scaling challenges: robust engineering is essential.

We're a small company (25 people) and we make individual creativity a high priority.

* Attend two paid conferences a year plus the legendary WebApp Weekender * Ultra flexible working hours* Initiation by hot pot* Hardware of your choice (MacBook Pro, probably)* Free soft drinks (New York office) / Free fruit (London office)
