We’re looking for User Experience generalist with strong skills in Information Architecture and Interaction & Interface Design. Experience with Visual Design, User Research, Usability Testing, and Content Strategy will be useful. Presentation, development and writing skills will set you apart.

A minimum of 3 – 5 years UX experience required with 1– 2 specifically creating IA deliverables. A strong working knowledge of Fireworks/Axure/Visio/Omnigraffle and the Adobe Creative Suite required. A degree in HCI, Human Factors, Usability, Design or Information Sciences preferred. Previous Agency experience preferred.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for Fortune 500 clients, from retail websites and web applications to marketing microsites and email. You’ll also be involved in helping tie together the overall User Experience for an entire campaign.

• Create sitemaps, wireframes, process flows, interaction design, interactive prototypes and other related deliverables and specifications for the creative team and technical teams
• Interview stakeholders to gather requirements, business goals for a project and translate that information into documentation for the team
• Act as an advocate for the user, conduct user research, ad-hoc usability analysis, create user personas, evaluate existing designs and suggest areas for improvement
• Balance business requirements with user needs and create solutions that satisfy both, clearly demonstrate where they conflict and suggest solutions
• Balance multiple projects, timelines, quick deadlines, and communicate effectively with all involved
• Discuss strategy direction for online projects and act as the glue between creative, content and technology
• Evaluate functionality, usability, accessibility, and overall User Experience for existing and proposed systems and sites
• Educate and partner with other groups in the company to communicate the value of User Experience and how it can help our clients and the company

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:      

·         College degree in Human Factors, Design, Library/Information Sciences, or Design preferred

Experience:     

o Expert hands on knowledge of Information Architecture and Interaction/Interface Design and creating resulting deliverables, processes, activities and client facing documents

o Some experience facilitating or participating in usability testing and knowledge of principles and testing methods, and accessibility measures for various devices and users

o Familiar with use and limitations of basic web technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX, Flash, and other front end technologies and how they impact the user interface and experience

o Knowledge of how visual design and content influences the User Experience, and experience integrating UX documentation, comps and development

o Experience leading collaborative design sessions, and presenting ideas and deliverables documents directly to clients
