We're looking for a web developer for our rapidly growing, venture-backed, online banking business – PerkStreet Financial.   We need someone who loves making things for the web and is as comfortable digging into a nagging CSS issue as they are tweaking the web server to support a new subdomain.  This role involves both front-end and back-end coding, as well as basic server configuration and management.    We may have the word "financial" in our name, but clear any preconceived notions from your head – we're an exciting, dynamic company looking to change banking for the better.

Here’s the short list of things you’d be doing:

• Work with our design and product teams to turn their ideas into new content and functionality for our marketing, banking and rewards sites
• Assist our development staff in connecting customer-facing web applications with our internal systems and data feeds
• Help us measure our marketing efforts by managing dynamic offer content, tracking codes and optimization testing – anything that helps us better track and serve our customers

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of front-end web development experience
• Excellent cross-browser HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• At least 2 years of back-end programming experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC Framework and SQL Server
• Knowledge of Windows IIS and web server configuration
• AJAX experience a plus
• Experience working with cookies, Google Analytics, and tracking data a strong plus
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to function well in an ever-changing, fast-paced start-up environment.  You’ll end up doing things that aren’t in your job description – we all do.
• Undergraduate degree or higher
