Where I've Been (www.whereivebeen.com), a leading social travel site and Facebook application with 9.6 million members, is currently looking for a rock star Creative Director/Web Designer with deep experience designing user-friendly, visually-engaging social media sites and applications.

We are backed by Lightbank (www.lightbank.com), the investment group behind Groupon and many other successful start-ups. This is a great opportunity to play a major role shaping the creative direction of a social media start-up with enormous potential. The position can be contract or full-time. Only candidates who send portfolios and works samples will be considered.

What we need you to do:

•            Oversee and establish brand guidelines brilliantly executed across all brand touchpoints

•            Design simple, stylish solutions using best practices in UI, UX and social media integration

•            Be a major team player and laugh at our jokes

What skills you need to have:

•            3+ years professional experience in web development / web design

•            A rock-star wizard in HTML/CSS

•            Fluent in Illustrator/Photoshop

•            Intuitive sense of color, navigation and space

•            Out of this world creative ability. You wow people with your work

•            Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus
