About us:

MagMe Inc. is a digital publishing platform and is currently seeking an experienced Flex ActionScript Developer for contract work. Internet Start-Up experience is a plus.

Project Details & MagMe’s Requirements:

Contract time frame: 1-2 months

Project type: Enterprise Web Application

Ability to work 40+ hours a week (no other work being done on our time)

Must have excellent communication skills and ability to follow company policy.

Required Skills:

1.   Minimum of 5 years developing large scale web applications.

2.   Preferably a BS in Computer Science or Engineering

3.   Expert knowledge of Adobe Flex SDK and Actionscript 3

4.   The ability to take a design and recreate it pixel perfect in Flex or Flash

5.   Expert knowledge of PHP

6.   Strong interactive design skills with Flex & Flash

7.   Experience building RIAs

8.   In-depth knowledge of DOM, HTML and CSS

9.   Expert knowledge of Javascript & Javascript Frameworks

10. Solid experience with web services like REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and open APIs

11.  Solid experience with Agile Development

12.  Knowledge of mobile application development: Objective C and iPhone OS

13.  Expert knowledge of SQL, coupled with strong database management skills

14. Experience with version control systems, good coding practices; optimizing code for scale and performance
